HP LaserJet P1008 Toner Review

There is no display in this particular printer. Additionally, apart from a power button, there isn't any switch at any place, not even a cancel button. The power switch is handily positioned at the front for simple access rather than at the back, like on many printers.
This particular printer incorporates only a sole driver CD with no further software. The driver program is extremely simple and lets you use functions such as collate, manual duplex printing, and so on. Another highlight is an option to pick EconoMode to avoid wasting the HP LaserJet P1008 toner cartridge. You can also generate and keep your personal list of preset settings for use later.
We printed a page of black text to find out the speed as well as level of quality of the print. Page one required only nine seconds, and that is just like that stated by HP. The pages per minute (PPM) in the first minute was 15.6 and it attained 17 in the succeeding minutes.
With regard to this test, we utilized a page of multi-coloured graphs, text, charts, patterns and photos. Because it is a black and white printer we were looking at, we checked for the greyscale output quality. The document took 10.7 seconds to produce the 1st print, whilst the PPM in the first minute was 14.7. The PPM touched 16.7 soon after.
The caliber of print was decent in this instance also and the legibility was not changed down to the lowest point size. That is outstanding performance from such small a device.
The laser printer is designed for those who may well not need colour prints and would rather choose good quality black and white printouts. For its compactness, convenience, high quality and overall performance, this printer gets high marks.
